Ronel Hugo is the Head of Afrikaans in the Junior and Middle School at Redhill School, where she leads curriculum development and language acquisition across a diverse student body. With 19 years of teaching experience, a background in Child and Family Psychology and a PGCE, with a focus on First Additional Language teaching, Ronel brings a unique lens to inclusive classroom practice. Her postgraduate studies in educational leadership and a passion for student-centered learning have led her to explore innovative strategies for differentiation, particularly in the Afrikaans language acquisition classroom.
