Reflections on the Mock G20 Youth Summit - A Panel Discussion

In February 2025, Redhill teachers from the Early Learning Centre, Junior School, Middle School, and Senior School embarked on an ambitious collaborative journey — meeting weekly to design and implement a real-world, interdisciplinary project spanning all four schools. The result was a three-day Mock G20 Youth Summit, where students from Grade 1 to Grade 11 connected across age groups, explored the nations of the G20, and tackled pressing environmental, social, technological, and political challenges with creativity and innovation.

In this panel discussion, the educators behind the summit will share their experiences of planning and delivering a large-scale, cross-campus learning experience. They will reflect on the benefits of this approach, unpack moments of unexpected discovery, and reveal the happy accidents and personal growth that emerged along the way.
